Review of the i5-9600kf, if suddenly  again mixes the reviews.
I bought an ASUS RIG STRIX Z390-F Gaming motherboard for it (there is also a review on it), I thought that I would take 5 GHz on it, but it was a failure - the 1.37 Volt processor holds only 4.7 GHz and consumes 160 watts, 4.8 turned out to be kept at a voltage of 1.44 In, but I decided to stop at 4.7. Most likely I have an unsuccessful instance, tk. according to reviews, many take 5 GHz at 1.32 V.
I tried to change LLC, various voltages, etc., I tried auto-overclocking, but ASUS has it quite good - nothing helps. 4.7 and that's it. At the same time, for AVX instructions, the frequency had to be reduced by 200 MHz in order for them to work normally.
Now about cooling: I used be quiet! dark rock 4 and it barely copes with the appetites of this stone - in a stress test, the percentage heats up to 92 grudus, in games - up to 80, and my tower is not the weakest, pretop. I use Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste, I changed it 2 times, for reliability - the temperatures did not change, and after 20 minutes of stress testing, the tower did not warm up slightly, i. E. The percent really releases a lot of heat and there is no "stop" (I think you understand what I mean) in the thermal paste. I have a DeepCool E-Shield body, it blows perfectly.
As for the solder - even though Intel declares solder, it seems that there is still a thermal gum, or low-quality solder, because. too high temperatures for 6 cores, even for 14 nm.
About the memory controller. I use green samsungs. On the Ruzen 2600 and the ASUS TUF B450M PRO Gaming motherboard, the dice took a maximum of 3200 MHz, here, at 9600kf, they took 3400 with the same timings, of course, the motherboard can also affect, but still, the memory controller in the processor plays an important role.
In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, but somehow I expected to take at least 4.9 GHz.
