Review on Unlocked Intel Core i5-9600KF Desktop Processor, 6 Cores up to 4.6 GHz Turbo, LGA1151 300 Series, No Graphics, 95W TDP by Abhey Bar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

I’ll write the result from above: if you want to overclock to 5 and try your luck on the K version, saving on KF, you lose the opportunity to get beautiful numbers, receiving TVEL in return. I also advise you to buy a cooler for MORE because it heats up very willingly during overclocking. Long thought between this and Ryzen. Then I thought about whether to take the version with K or KF. Generally miscalculated here and there. But it is not all that bad. In memory-hungry projects on the unit, everything is ok. It's like a processor, well, it works. It's a shame the following is overclocking. It is, of course, horror. On the Internet, almost everyone talks about the lightest 5 Ghz for all cores. This is not the case with KF. To begin with, from above 1.3v, normal cooling is needed, for experiments I changed my gamax to lucifer. And so I'll start with the fact that AVX does not work for me over 4.5 Ghz, 4.6 is unstable, 4.7 is very unstable, 4.9 and above you will not leave the desktop. A simple 5.0 Ghz (no avx) starts running at 1.4v, but it fails the OCCT stress test (I usually run one hour with big data). Tipo play in 5.0 Ghz mb and you can, but not everywhere and not always. In general, I killed dancing with voltage and frequencies probably all summer. In the end, nothing good came of it. It was not possible to survive completely stable frequencies above what the program from Intel could do (4.6 Ghz 4.5 Ghz at Avx 4.3 ring at 1.31v). The coolest thing that happened with full stability is 4.7 Ghz 4.5 Ghz at AVX and 4.3 around the ring at a decent 1.4v. There is not even a ceiling in the temperature, it simply does not work above this frequency. Separately, I will say about prime, he did not perceive overclocking at all. Either the temperature is over 90, or an error in the testing process. Yes, you can bend all the values and get 5.0 Ghz and it’s even quite playable, but I don’t need crashes into a blue screen in the middle of a sweaty rink or excuses for the nickname “Bakery”. Generally frustrated.

Pros
  • - 6 physical cores - fast L1 - Possibility of overclocking
Cons
  • - Weak acceleration - Gets hot - Unsuccessful revision

High-performance processor, enough for all games. I don't know who needs more than 6 cores.

Despite the damage, the processor works. They refused to replace it in Amazon and deprived the guarantee, like the fool himself)
