Review on 🌀 Nordic Pure 20x25x4 Pleated Furnace Filter by Noah Lewis

Actual size 19 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 3 5/8 (19.5 x 24.5 x 3.63). It was listed in the description so I'm embarrassed I didn't rush over to my oven with a tape measure and measure the filter slot. I was too lazy and thought: well, if it says it fits, then that must be the size I need. The one star rating is given for the misleading headline that it fits in the 20 x 25 x 4 oven slot. It leaves just over an inch of clearance for unfiltered air to flow right past it. As a result, the MERC 12 rating is significantly lower. Its thickness is 3/8 inch thinner. This means there are fewer filter pleats and nearly 500 square inches of filter area that is slightly less than the filter area, meaning less airflow causes the stove fan/air conditioner to work harder. Being smaller than the oven slot makes it very easy to put in, so I think it's easy to install. I do not recommend this filter to anyone.
