Review on πŸ’Ί NewYall Power Seat Switch - Front Driver Side by Rich Shankar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for spare parts

This electric seat switch is perfect. Total installation time, including removing the old switch, was about 15 minutes. This is an easy first DIY project. Three tools are required: your hand, a flathead screwdriver, and a Phillips screwdriver. Use an F-head screwdriver to carefully remove the two toggle buttons (they're easy to grab). Then go to the back of the plastic cover and lift the left side of the carpet area attached to the seat (you will see a P head screw holding the cover, remove the screw). Hold the plastic cover with both hands and gently pull it (a latch is attached to the top and back of the cover), it will dislodge from the seat. Then proceed to the front of the plastic cover. Look under the seat. You will see that the cover is held in place with another clip (use an F head screwdriver to carefully insert and pry up the square plastic part of the clip and slide the cover forward. At this point the wiring harness should be the only its what's attached to the seat now disconnect the wiring harness now that you have the plastic cover and old switch loosen the three P head screws that secure the switch to the plastic cover install the new switch and reverse the order to complete the project.Hope this helps. Also the price here is the best.
