I needed to replace an existing rug which was exactly 8' x 8' and I was hoping it would help. Firstly, this rug is NOT the advertised size, it actually measures 7.5 x 7.5 inches. This was particularly problematic for me as I was referring to the exact size and nowhere on this listing was it mentioned that this is a smaller rug. Instead, the product is advertised as 96 x 96 x 0.375 inch pile. Second, this carpet is too thin. The stitched edges can have a .375-inch pile as advertised, but the rug itself is definitely thin enough without adding plush. on the ground beneath him. Now I have to work with a smaller rug that doesn't fit my space and also spend another $50 to buy padding to put under this rug. There is no way I can repack this rug or put it in the car to return. It really sucks.
