I use shop aprons when I work in a wood shop. I especially like the adjustable neck loop on this apron because when I turn on my lathe, wood shavings tend to run down my neck and under my shirt. This adjustment allows me to tighten the apron to cover my collarbones and reduce or even prevent the ingress of wood chips. The pockets are fairly shallow, which is important to me because I don't like pockets full of sawdust. I will ask my wife to add a side pencil pocket at the top. Side entry means no sawdust. The fabric is fairly light so if you want a thick linen apron keep looking. I like the weight because it's cooler to wear.
