If someone decides to take an external subwoofer, I immediately advise you to take a subwoofer with frequency cutoff adjustment. Otherwise, the sub will just buzz (I myself tried to connect the sub only with volume control), tk. on Yamaha there are no subwoofer controls except for the volume and for the sub to be with auto on and off, then you can manage three devices (TV, Yamaha 101 itself and sub) with one remote control from the TV. I advise you to buy, just look for no more than 8000, this price happens in online stores.
