Got pros: A fairly compact device (although in recent years the S series has always been on the verge of convenient one-handed operation), there is water protection, high performance and a high-quality camera (more precisely, cameras). With each new S series device, the interface is indeed becoming less intrusive compared to "pure" Android. This year, I liked the presence of eSim the most - it will be very convenient to buy visual sim cards in roaming. I bought it to replace the S8 and for me, in the end, the decisive factors were: - eSim - a new camera (of course, after three years the difference in quality is already very noticeable) - guarantee of Android ates in the next 2 years (ates just stopped coming to S8, now security patches are only quarterly) - less side twisted screen than S8, S9, S10 Different cons: The device is slippery, I will not wear it without a cover. But yes, less twisted corners than previous generations allow you to hold it more confidently in your hand even without a case. There is no 5G in the 2022 version, in practice it’s not scary, anyway, there are no networks yet, but I buy a phone for 2-3 years, and again, I could try it while traveling around the world. There is no black this year, but gray is also okay. No 3.5mm jack. It's more versatile though. The adapter from usb-c to 3.5 mm is not included, but I would not use it. But they attached headphones, and these are the same headphones as they used to be for the S series, only with a USB-C connector. They sound pretty good for the included headphones. PRO mode is NOT available in wide and telephoto modes :(
