They are very comfortable but not very well made. We live in our merino wool socks 8 months out of the year so I decided to try them out for the kids as a more cost effective option. This happened literally after a couple of washes, in the photo if you can see they began to diverge. Also, there were a few other things that happened prior to this disassembly. Firstly, they work great freshly washed and dried, but during the day they stretch a bit and I think on long ski tours they start slipping in the boots, which is very annoying. Another thing, when they arrived they ran out of a weird, almost machine-made oil smell. it's washed out
