I installed this in about 10 minutes. I use it to keep my little ones out of the house unnoticed. I think this lock can keep an honest man's honesty in a pinch. If someone wants to break into your house, they will. This castle will at least make their arrival very noisy. I can hear from the other side of the house when my baby tries to leave or when my spouse forgets to pick the lock. I'm a big man with heavy hands and I've opened the door several times on purpose while it was occupied and I hadn't destroyed it yet. Works fine for my purposes.
