Review on VViViD Black Carbon Gloss Realistic by Jeremy Kakaruk

I have been using Vvivid products for years and this has been the only exception to their excellent products in my experience. The packaging was excellent, the film itself had microcracks and scratches, which eventually led to creases all over the hood. This product REQUIRES the use of a tackifier, which is not only useful, it is essential. Lifting and adjusting was almost impossible and only caused the vinyl to stretch. The material can be glued to the hood as soon as it comes in contact with the surface with equal success. Can't recommend this vinyl from vvivid, it's insanely difficult to use even on a nice flat lens hood. Very expensive and not worth the hassle.
