After assembly which took less than 30 seconds my son tried it and couldn't figure out how to turn. He's 4. I didn't know you had to bend down to turn around, so it needs to be learned. On the first day he figured out how to drive straight. On the second day he seemed to spin, but he got scared and jumped off. On the 3rd day he got it. Now it's been about 2 weeks since we received it and it's a pro. It drives fast and leans into a corner and looks really cool. This is the best purchase I've made for him in a long time. We clean the bikes after using them outside and he uses them around the house. They do not damage my parquet floors. If you are patient children, please buy this scooter. You will not regret it
