This review is for the diffuser lens (some people included the light itself on this list). The diverging lens works great! It uses the effect of a round spot of light, making it much wider and more practical (for those who use it as a bicycle headlight). There were many problems with the round spot when the light got in the eyes of oncoming traffic or the light had to be aimed so low that you couldn't go a long distance. This lens solves this problem very effectively. Now you can position the lighting field further in front of you without blinding oncoming people. It would be nice if the lamp came with a lens, but at least it can be bought later. The photos posted in another review are very accurate and show how the lens works.
