Small Pavilion

So initially you will not receive a finished footrest, just an outer cover that you can add cushions or blankets of your choice to. The material isn't very soft due to the beadwork, so more of a talking point. We filled it and made it our own. This is a fairly small footstool, not your usual height, it sits under the edge of the couch.

Pros
  • Technique: Hambadia Patchwork. In the Hambadia technique, embroidered vintage fabric patches are randomly sewn and embroidered to create a collage effect and decorated with all sorts of colored threads, patchwork, raised colored threads and embroidery in intricate patterns with a beautiful tassel. The stool covers are made by Indian women living in the Indian countryside.
