I live in the greater Birmingham, Alabama area and overall this antenna works great. I was able to connect a total of 44 channels. 6 out of 44 seems to fall off (lag/stutter) but given a respectable 38 out of 44 for the price and compared to other antennas that cost more, with the same or worse score, I have a good feeling about this purchase. Those with less quality experience than me should consider their surroundings/obstacles like trees, hills/mountains blocking towers/signals. You should play with where to place the antenna for the best reception. I was also able to connect more channels without using an amplifier, which the description states, if the signal is already strong it is not recommended to use an amplifier. The weird and only problem I have is that when I use an amp I only get about 22 channels, but the 6 I'm having trouble with work and the rest are either missing or worse. So you have to find a balance between what you are actually watching and what you are actually listening to. 1 of 6 I would really like to see. I don't care about the other 5. Another issue I found was that in my area, signals worked better during the day than at night. I get fewer visible channels at night on a position, but moving the antenna at night works a little better. Maybe Coolmade will fix this problem in their 2018 version or provide some kind of adapter amp controller to help with that.
