Best Thread Tension in Oil Filters and Accessories
The bolt threads on this assembly were tight and required unusual force to fully install. The threads were taut after the first full turn. This could be a problem with the limited production line when forming the threads. I wouldn't discount its filtration efficiency. If the installation was performed by an inexperienced person, then the problem may not have fully appeared. The Purolator brand is characterized by high reliability and good quality. Unfortunately there is a problem with this device.
