Initialization issues

I'm not sure if this is a product issue or if I'm missing some drivers, but about half the time I boot up my T440p the disc won't light up. When I restart it comes on again. Once it lights up, it shows up on my devices and is fully usable as long as my laptop stays on. Any help or advice would be great if this was the case for you!

Pros
