I don't invest much in band saws partly because I'm cheap and partly because I make parts on the saw that push the limits of what it intended Design. However, I usually use Craftsman and Bosch blades. Then I started using Olson blades. While there are probably much better quality blades out there, they have stood up to my abuse, they cut like butter and they are far more durable than others I have used. They require a lot more turns and effort, and they just keep moving. Yes, they do break, but they are much more tolerant of breakage than Crafstman and especially Bosch (shit). So now I'm a die-hard Olson fan. There's no reason to try anything else. They are inexpensive and durable.
