Review on 🔵 BLACKHORSE-RACING Heavy Duty Blue Silicone Intercooler Boot Kit Compatible with 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L Diesel by Dean Gomatham

Overall I am very happy with these CAC hoses (aka Boost/Intercooler Boots). They are quite thick compared to standard tubes/boots and appear to be quite well made. They're a little hard to get on the tubes, but the lube makes it a lot easier. My stock boots continued to deflate at 28-30psi and they still endured nearly 35psi on my 2001 Cummins 24V. The red also helps add a bit of color to the under hood compared to the black. The clamps are also of high quality and have enough play to slide through the hose without binding, but not so loose that they tighten the nut for long periods of time. Time. My only complaint, for lack of a better term, is with the hose/sleeve that connects the bottom of the pipes to the aftercooler/intercooler. At least on mine they need some trimming to get the pipe and turbo or intake horn to fit properly. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, but it's more than 4 stars. Probably 4.5 if I could. The straight pipe (coupling) was the same length as the standard pipe and fitted perfectly. For me, and maybe it will work for you, I unclipped the transition manifold on the turbo (note the orientation first to help with final installation) and took off the intake horn. This helped install the pipe with hoses and made it much easier to remove and reattach the required trim. After trimming I adjusted everything loosely to make sure everything was lined up correctly and first clamped all the clamps and then tightened to torque. I would definitely buy them again if I needed a different set of hoses/covers or wanted a color change. Especially considering that they are about 1/3 cheaper than other options that don't quite meet these characteristics (temperature and pressure).
