As with all cheap clock radios, you get what you pay for and that's not much. A few downsides to this. The large LED display looks a bit blurry for such a display and has some bumps within individual digits. The so-called 4 brightness levels are only two levels, since the lowest level is completely deactivated and the second lowest level is barely visible in complete darkness; which leaves you with only medium and high settings - so you basically have two usable levels of brightness instead of four. The FM radio preset feature is completely useless. When you first plug it in the FM radio immediately tries to preset 20 stations and all I did was preset 20 static frequency points and NO actual radio station. I was actually able to tune stations manually, but then couldn't find a way to make the station one of the 20 preset stations because the presets were already full of static dots. I think I've had this thing for about a week now and one positive thing I can say is that it keeps the exact time, at least up to this point, which the last 3 or 4 cheap clock radios I bought have, not t. And when I tried the alarm once, it seemed to work and seemed loud enough to wake a person.
