Fantastic and annoying

I would give another star if only this soft garment wasn't so ugly. Luckily I have a degree in Computer Science and just started working with software and found my own way. I never called tech support. As far as I know they have an update. After each scan, I have to close the app and use my graphics software to resize, retouch, etc. Then I go back to the scanner app and scan another document or artwork. If you want to scan multiple objects side by side without freezing, let everyone know how you do it. The color and detail of my drawing is exactly what I wanted. In this I am not disappointed. LOUD, THIS THING IS LOUD! Excuse the yell, but if you use it and try to keep the conversation going, practice yelling. It sounds like a dinosaur in the heat crossed with a pavement-eating road car and a jackhammer combined. I figured 12 x 17 would mean I could fit it on my desk. You can, but it's more than you think. I would go and measure it for you but my cat just fell asleep on my lap and I'm too nice and lazy to get up. Just be prepared for a lot more space. You may think I hate this car, but you're wrong. The best full bed scanners cost a lot more. For the price you can't go wrong. I write and illustrate a children's book and I refuse to send my original work to a publisher who will not return it. That way, I submit high quality JPEG art and PDF for publication. So for me it's a win, a win. I treat this scanner like my ex-husband; I just ignore it, bypass its quirks and bypass it.
