Excellent card, changed 3080 ealge from 1x batches, sold to miners, bought this 1k1. As they say in the reviews, relative to the 3080, the increase is 7-15%, but I was very pleased with the cooling, in stresses like a furmark and very gluttonous games, the chip does not heat up above 70, and the memory is above 75, these are peak values, the averages are lower by 4-6 degrees (games in 2k naturally at maximum speeds). despite the fact that above the map is the tower of the dark rock pro 3080 needles warmed up from memory to 95 due to which the thermal pads flowed cooling is quiet, noise in a closed case, only at 85%+ rpm. I really liked the additional power connectors, they clearly took into account the "failing" pins from the first revisions. chases a little, squeeze out another 3-4% efficiency, it turned out in an autoburner without prejudice to heating (but why?) in terms of consumption, I did not notice any differences from the base 3080, a good 850 PSU is enough to head. 8 + 8 additional power supply, which is easier to implement in many PSUs, and not, for example, in MSI 8x3, a useless solution, supposedly less heating on the line and in general the load is nonsense, in fact 2 lines are more than enough with a huge margin in maximum load (especially since in the end there is an ordinary adapter) In general, I am very pleased with the card, it is ideal for 2k gaming, many projects are excellent at 4k 60fps on the TV (with a slight decrease in graphics ala from "ultra" to "very high") Regarding 3090 for games, this version is better in terms of FPS per, IMHO 3090 is now needed only if you work on it. the price would be 130 +\-
