Excellent until they're gone

First pair sent didn't work in one ear. It was replaced quickly and everything was great. Now, 6 months later, the metal plug has come loose from the plastic head. As you can see from the product image, the head of the connector is curved, so pulling on the cable won't dislodge it. I have not abused the cable in any way while sitting at my desk. I've used them very sparingly, even with the plug problem, but now one ear has fallen out. I only use them at work. You don't travel. Nobody else uses them. It's a shame that Sony put out such a bad product.
