Brackets do not fit horizontal orientation for Sonos Play 5. The bottom "h" for Sonos Play 5 is too small and does not fit, you need to use the bracket for Hero 5 which frees Sonos Play 5 can sit on the stand. The top bracket doesn't sit flush either, so there's plenty of wiggle room. The bracket is secure enough to push the stand and speaker together when held by the stand. When you grab the speaker, it pops out immediately. It may fit the old Sonos Play 5 and not the new one. I do not recommend.
