This is a great everyday hooded sweatshirt, you will feel comfortable in it when the room is too cold, for example at school. However, this is not intended for heat in general. Consider it a very unique long sleeve shirt with slightly thicker material. It was perfect for us as it was bought for the beauty not the warmth. The XL size was a little comfy for a 4ft 11in and 125lb friend, so we opted for the small adult size.
