Neither the materials nor the design are cutting edge, but you get what you pay for.
Difficult to balance a small pistol on. I have a pen shaped glue gun (which is what I bought it for) and for the most part it holds it without tipping over. The problem is that I usually work fast when working with a glue gun. It's difficult for me to keep the right position every time I want to put down the gun. I tried this with a small glue gun and it's too small. I think this design could work with slightly heavier materials (for strength) and a larger base (for balance). I would be willing to pay more for a better product.
