Too light. Falls off when string is squeezed. Otherwise a good find for a gun that has lost its snap stand.

While not aesthetically pleasing I was able to modify this flimsy glue gun stand from something that held nothing, without constantly tipping over, on a more than decent, stable stand for an AF glue gun! As you can see, it's ugly but functional. I have upgraded it from a 1 star product to a 4 star product. I don't even have to be careful with the glue gun, I can just drop it there.

To be honest there is nothing wrong with this product. The base protects important surfaces from adhesive and the cooled adhesive peels off very easily. As a stand it's adequate in that it really does hold the glue gun, but if you don't set it up properly or have a heavier gun it could tip over. I think my hopes were just higher, hoping that my hot glue gun would fit a little better in it. Difficult to balance a small pistol on. I have a pen shaped glue gun (which is what I bought it for) and for the most part it holds it without tipping over. The problem is that I usually work fast when working with a glue gun. It's difficult for me to keep the right position every time I want to put down the gun. I tried this with a small glue gun and it's too small. I think this design could work with slightly heavier materials (for strength) and a larger base (for balance). I would be willing
