Review on Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50183 Glen Alden Bronze Ceiling Fan: Efficient & Stylish Cooling Solution by Jesse Bailey

I gave this ceiling fan 4 stars instead of 5 because of the instructions that came in the box. I've installed half a dozen fans in my life and this one was the hardest because the instructions were so vague. It usually takes 2 hours to install a fan, but it took me 8 hours. Example: When installing fans, the screwdriver cannot reach the screws because the light blocks are in the way. After scratching my head for a few minutes and removing the FAST light, I noticed a spot about 1 inch wide where you can rotate the fan motor so you can screw on each fan. This was just one example of what the manual didn't tell you, but there are a few more that you simply have to find out for yourself. I have to say that the Effing fan works really well now that it's on and comes with 4 soft LED lights that really light up the room. Oh yes, we need to figure out how to turn on glass lamps. Note: There are 4 round porcelain screws that you screw around the base of the lamp tube while holding the glass fitting... I think you get the idea. Much luck.
