I am an experienced gardener and have long given up planting "Mother's Day" or X days before/after Memorial Day. this year, for weeks, all my friends as they plant by date, not country or weather. My tomatoes are bigger, stronger and thriving while my friends are still struggling to stay healthy. I strongly believe in using science and tools to help in the garden.
