I did a lot of research before buying as it's a little more expensive than I wanted to spend - my brother has a Nepresso version but much smaller, container and doesn't come off the base like that can't be submerged in water. Water is also an internal coating that can flake off over time. That's why I chose this foam concentrate because I like the wide stainless steel cup that can be detached and washed by hand or in the dishwasher. The small magnetic whisk simply clicks on the bottom of the mug to create foam. The milk foam is dense and dimensionally stable and I use it at the highest temperature, which makes a really great hot drink. I've tried adding cocoa powder to the milk cup while frothing, but it clogs the small whisk. So now I first melt the powder in milk in the microwave and then add frothed milk to the mug and it's amazing and looks professional! Liquid chocolate works right in the cup. Comes with the option of using a small frothing disc or flat heating disc which are magnetic and snap into the bottom of the mug and are stored in the back of the machine when not in use. Reliable, high quality machine with small dimensions - love it! Update* - no longer works after 3 months; excellent customer service from Revain. Just got the 2nd and no longer lathers after a few tries. I will be back and hopefully a 3rd time with good luck as I love the concept of this machine easy to clean and the thick foam when working is amazing! Update* - DO NOT BUY! After 4 attempts to get this propellant to work with no degradation, I gave up. Revain's customer service was great and refunded all my money.
