Review on ☕ Bodum 11571-109 Pour Over Coffee Maker with Permanent Filter - 34oz/1L Glass Carafe & Cork Band by Erin Romero

I've had my eye on this type of coffee machine for a long time. I've been using a single drop over a coffee mug for a while and have had trouble continuing to brew coffee from the mug (I drink a lot of coffee!). I got it on a prime day and have been using it almost every day since! It looks elegant and holds so much coffee that I only have to brew one full cup a day. Since I have a sensitive throat, I use paper cone filters in addition to the manufacturer's metal filter. There are a few downsides. First, it's glass, so I have to be careful with that. Second, when it's full, the "corset" around your neck doesn't go down far enough where the coffee is, so the glass gets hot and your pinky can get hot trying to pour the coffee. . Third, the only insulation is the "corset" around the neck, so there's nothing to insulate the underwear that contains coffee. This cools it down pretty quickly. Since I knit, it was easy for me to sew a "couch" for him to keep the coffee warm. It looks so elegant that I use it for my floral teas and cocktails when I have friends. I am thinking of buying another one for myself and maybe a pair to give as gifts. 5 Stars!
