Detergents and very strong washing chemicals and they have never let me down Be careful if you have long or sharp nails because they are for catering and not so much heavy housework and you can work in the holes if you don't look at it. But I always keep them with me. A very good use for them is to cut them into fingerless gloves, put them on and slip a work glove over them. no worries! Just remember to flip and roll them up to throw away (and toss those work gloves in the wash!) as I'm very allergic to poison ivy and nettles and it's saved me time and time again.
