Works on thick wire, but will not penetrate finer wire unless wire is in the right place. You just can't hook the (thinner) wire. You need to stop to make sure the wire is in the correct spot to puncture. Generally good, works in most cases.
- Safe and fast, after the test, release the button to remove the wire, the cable sheath will not be damaged.
