Review on ⏲️ White West Bend Digital Magnetic Kitchen Timer with Large Display, Electronic Alarm, and Easy-to-Read Features by Mandy Johnson

Sometimes old-fashioned simple things are still the best.

Now I have two of these: one for home, the other for class. I had one like this a few years ago and really liked it, but it fell out of the fridge and broke. I couldn't find them locally so I put off buying a new one thinking I could do with two buttons or my iPhone. But I always liked to remember it. You just enter the time and go. No more scrolling, holding or re-pressing buttons, spinning wheels, unlocking phones, or worrying if a ring is loud enough (which it usually isn't). This little gem always works. Is always. I paid more money than I should have for fast shipping, but I'm still glad I ordered them. However, there is a downside. The shape of the timer makes it extremely unstable no matter where you place it and my last one broke from a simple fall so I know they aren't very durable. It sticks to the fridge (magnet) but when you try to push the button it flies away - and yes I mean literally fly like one explodes under your finger. Ditto the fact that when it's on the counter it can still fly to the side if you press on it. I solved this by using a photo frame hook on the back which allows it to stand up like a photo frame. You can't push it like that, but (visually, instinctively) grab it and try not to break the buttons. And the magnet allows it to be stored off the counter, which I appreciate too. So it's a good timer if you don't mind taking it first.

  • Finally bought
Cons
