Review on NiceNeer Montessori Toddlers Developmental Learning by Khalilah Hightower

At first I was concerned that the wooden pieces would be too small for my son (9 months old) but that's fine with him. I still have to keep an eye on him as the corner of the box is sharp and he loves falling on the most dangerous object on the floor (of course). make noise when shaken. None of them fell apart, and there were no signs of decay. The paint is also holding up with no problems. The pieces are a good size and only fit in the appropriate holes, except for the bridge piece, it can be flipped to fit through other holes. It is interesting to play with a trellis for a child and parents. When you throw pieces in the middle they curve enough to go through (sometimes) but when you throw on the edges they bounce and bounce really far. My son loves it and ends up using over 6 pieces included in this puzzle box. There is a slight inconsistency regarding age restrictions. The packaging says it's not for children under 3, but I think that's stupid. This toy is wasted on a 3 year old and the product page says he is 1-3 years old. I recommend this - apart from the hard corners on the box, this is a well designed and fun toy. Made in China.
