Works for me on Linux

This case is easy to use and works as expected. I wouldn't use it more than a few times to swap drives as the slide latches are plastic. The cooling fin area appears to be the only metal on the case. I tested the speed on 3 different systems, all with a Silicon Power 2TB TLC NVMe SSD. The transmission speed of the SSD installed directly on the Z370 mainboard was around 2500 MB/s. All systems ran Linux Mint and hdparm was used to measure read speed. Both Type-A and Type-C connections were read tested and no difference in speed was found between them. Write speeds were measured using nemo while transferring around 900GB of files of various sizes from the built-in NVMe SSD. All testing was performed using USB 3.2 Gen2 connections, with the exception of the I7 system, which was further tested using USB 3.2 Gen1 (aka USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen1). Due to the lack of temperature monitoring, I removed the adapter card/drive from the case and used a 120mm case fan to keep the drive cool during heavy writes and didn't experience any throttling. Not sure if this case will keep the drive cool on really large writes, but it is possible, please see other timing reviews.
