The unit I received did not work out of the box but that was fine because I started this purchase knowing I could take it apart and test it thoroughly and add gaskets. etc. As other reviewers have described. If you can do it well and feel comfortable (like me), then this device is a great thing, comparable to those from 150 euros and up that are ready out of the box. It can be rebuilt and adjusted very easily with spring changes/spring modifications and a top adjuster. If you want it ready to go, drop it and spend more. Work a little and you will get a gem.
