Aluminum or plastic, who wins? Aluminum. Out of the Box (Big plastic box for just one, manufacturers have to think about the environment!) It's easy to install but I forgot not to be so gullible about such things and I wasn't looking for sharp edges, well first ones Slide I scratched my laptop, invisible to others except the owner (me). You have to be careful when moving this thing. Always put your fingers mostly on the top of the base, otherwise as you move the top will bend down and scratch whatever is mounted on it. I've learned sometimes not to try to fix things. because they can get worse i have to live with that little scratch and be more careful when moving this thing. Looks ok, that's not necessary, I bought it because it's aluminum and I can recycle it whenever I want. I want to throw it away but I wasn't expecting this thing to come in a big plastic box that I'll see what I do with it so I'm giving three starts!
