Not recommended. It's definitely a huge improvement over using thumbs, but it's not really a well-made device. The first and biggest problem is triggers. They have a long draw length; In other words, when you pull the trigger, it takes about an inch for the pad to touch the screen. That might not seem like much, but the split second it takes before the trigger is released is crucial. It's like a constant lag. It also means you have to press the triggers hard because if you don't, the pad won't fully touch the screen and won't register. This problem alone is crucial. The second problem is ergonomics. If you do not have children's hands, it will be inconvenient to hold. The handles aren't wide enough to hold comfortably; they are very narrow. If you have small hands that's probably fine, but not for everyone else. They also mostly face down - most controllers have more diagonal grips. It's awkward to hold and changes the angle at which you naturally touch the screen with your thumbs, which confuses you a lot. Also, my hands cramp when holding it. Third, it's just poor quality material. Very thin and shaky. It really works and if it weren't for two other issues I'd turn a blind eye, but there's no excuse for a cheap, quality device that doesn't work well either. 1 star overall. There is a learning curve to using this device, so it will take some time before you see the benefits. You're better off picking one that isn't junk and learning from it instead.
