Mold Growth Best in Parts & Accessories
Although initially it seemed to work reasonably well, after a few weeks of use I noticed mold spots on the filter which OEM filters did not have. I definitely don't want my humidifier to spread mold spores through the air. If you only use it during the brief winter chills in warmer climates and throw it away, it could be a viable, inexpensive replacement for OEM filters if you throw them away each season regardless.
