I was concerned initially about this chain drive being noisy, but it is extremely quiet. The app works well to control it without having to pay a monthly fee like others. It also works well with Alexa, though needed some fiddling to get it to work right. Pairing with HomeConnect car remotes was not so fun or easy, but I think that's more of a HomeConnect issue, as my neighbor has same issue with a different brand.I think it will last a while, though only concerns are one sprocket end (non-motorized side) is plastic and the release for the garage door does not feel like it is strong enough to use after a few manual door raising and lowering sessions.Paired with new rollers and I always have to look to see if the garage is closing or opening! So nice!Make sure to use garage door-specific light bulbs. Regular LED bulbs operate at a frequency that will interfere with the remote signal. Most home improvement stores carry them, and so does Best Buy, of course. Having two bulbs in this unit really lights the garage well.Recommended!
