Review on SIIG SoundWave Sound Card IC 510012 S2 by Erick Bowers

I ordered the Soundwave PCI5.1 card after looking at the picture, the product description and reading the reviews for this model and the 7.1 version (both from SIIG). Good feedback. All I needed was 5.1 channels, so I ordered this card. The card I received didn't look like the picture in the description and was actually almost identical to the Sabrent SBT-SP6C 6-channel 5.1 surround-sound 3D PCI sound card that sells for $10 is sold less at a price of $9.99. If you're just looking for a cheap sound card, I'd save $10 and go with the SBT-SP6C. This was a bit of a scam, but it works fine with Windows 7.
