Listen to other negative reviews. We have had 8 of these installed indoors for about 5 years. I noticed one was hacked but just ignored it. Then it fell from the ceiling and spread all over the floor. I thought it was an accident and ordered a replacement. After replacing the broken one, I started looking at others and it turned out they all had the same problem. Plastic basically takes on the consistency of chalk and only crumbles with a little pressure. I will replace them all before another one falls down and breaks something or hurts someone. I didn't call Pyle as the warranty has expired and I don't want the same product installed anyway.
