This is a good case worthy of your money. But then again, why should we trust something made out of $20 plastic to protect a $1,200 device? I had trouble finding a properly designed case that would also work with tempered glass. Too many of them don't have screen covers and claim to work with Samsung's "built-in" technology. Yes I can say we didn't get that TPC coverage in the US. And they go up too high [or the protectors go down too low] and the case and protective glass push against each other and the glass pops out [3 cases have been through with such experience]. This case is decent. I had no problems with the fingerprint scanner. I installed this case on 2 phones. I also erased and reinstalled my phone about 3 times, so in this case my phone was "installed" four times. The scanner works without problems: • FOLLOW THE STEPS • Use a credit card to smooth out bubbles, the plastic/cardboard card provided is too thin and will fold under pressure. CC allowed me to push harder and pop the bubbles. • [This is the most important thing] DELETE and rescan your fingerprints. Yes it didn't work when I just plugged it in and tried to use the fingerprint scanner. He couldn't read my fingerprint. It works perfectly for me because I rescanned my printouts every time I reinstalled. Here's a tip: scan the same finger 2-3 times. This will cover all corners of your fingerprint. I log into my phone every time with no problems. The only times I have to use a PIN is on a reboot or a security prompt saying it's time to log in with your PIN. The screen protector is ok. It's plastic, not glass, I didn't expect it to withstand a direct hit. But it protects your screen from scratches. I inserted my photo. The trail of white fog you see over the fingerprint scanner is the result of my daughter putting my keys back in my [wrong] pocket and they got stuck in my phone. The S Pen didn't have too many problems. Sometimes it doesn't register, and I find it's because the page lifted up a bit after falling and just needs to be snapped back in place and I can draw/write again. times [yes, with a phone in it]. Whether it was knocked out of my hands by my child or knocked off the bed, nightstand, coffee table, etc., it has definitely withstood those falls. However, I noticed that the S Pen ALWAYS shows up. My concern is that the force of the impact will be transferred to the inside of the phone. Otherwise no damage/cracks. At this point it should be noted that I have therefore reinstalled the housing several times. There were a few bad drops and I became concerned and had to check the phone's integrity and remove the case. Note: In the 2nd picture [the back] you will notice that the Y chrome is missing from my case. These bits [2] actually popped out and flew off the drop. But has it been dropped 26 times from 48 feet? Don't believe this crazy lie. I certainly don't. Unless they say they dropped their phone case 26 times from 48 feet? Haaaah, okay, even worse if that's the case. But if you use this cover for its intended purpose. Small drops and chip/scratch protection, it does its job well. Just take your time and follow the fingerprint scanner instructions and make sure to REMOVE AND RESCAN your fingerprints. The slot on the windscreen doesn't bother me, everything still works perfectly. STILL looking for a proper case to match the tempered glass protectors [I have 2 left in the pack], might try the Otterbox as the defender has protected my iPhone many times over the past 4 years. I would feel more relaxed with a glass protector. I can only see if I can get this out and working because it looks like it's coming out of the edges so it can sit on the tread over the edge instead of pushing against it and pushing the glass away.
