Having ridden approximately 60,000 miles in my 30+ years as an adult and tried many brands and models of road tires, my impression of the Maxxis Re-Fuse is that it is a very good tire is and good price. I'm in my 60's and I'm training for nothing. All I want is a good tire with good puncture resistance that's at least a little cheaper than a car tire. I don't need an ultra light or fast tire; only relatively inexpensive and durable, and the Maxxis Re-Fuse is right up your alley. I ride 2,000-3,000 miles a year, a 190-pound biker, and a set of these tires seems to handle my cycling season with ease.
