I wanted to wait a year and take the cheaper iPhone 12 mini, but my old seven suddenly hooted. I didn’t want to leave the Apple ecosystem, even if only temporarily, I had to choose between 11 and SE. The advertised camera spoke in favor of the first option, the design indistinguishable from the seven spoke in favor of the second (for some, the 4.7 screen is criminally small, but in my opinion it is ideal, the phone should lie comfortably in the hand and be controlled with the same hand). As a result, I took SE: after all, it was difficult to take and give 50k without consequences, and 35 was just right. But I didn’t regret it: in terms of functionality, the same seven, but fast, with a more adaptive screen (a true tone function has appeared), a good camera and a couple more features that I still don’t use (like wireless charging). The camera was a pleasant surprise. Although they write everywhere that she migrated from the eight, in fact it is not much different from the 11th iPhone (compared with the 11th of her friend). There is no wide and night mode in the SE, but otherwise there are practically no differences in the quality of the pictures. Is that the color scheme makes it warmer than the 11th. SE techno-maniacs and mobile gamers will get bored, the design is outdated, the screen is small, there is no convenient Face ID (respectively, and animoji), but there is a Home button, which Apple could well refuse, but did not do this for the sake of increasing sales of state employees. All of these are fair claims. But everyone selects smart for their needs. For me, at the moment, a small price was important, which became the determining factor. If there were extra 15k, I probably didn’t give a damn about the “shoveliness” of the 11th and would have taken it. In principle, the new SE is a great companion, coping with all everyday tasks better than my previous iPhone, although there was no direct "wow" effect when switching from 7 to SE. I’ll run with him for another 3 years, and then we’ll see what else Apple will surprise.
