Review on SadoTech'S Wireless Doorbell Kit: 1000-Ft Range, Waterproof And Loaded With 52 Chimes And LED Lights by Scott Decoteau

In the past I've found the range on wireless devices have been questionable but I am really pleased with this unit

I installed this doorbell since the "wired" one stopped working. In the past I've found the range on wireless devices have been questionable but I am really pleased with this unit. The location is roughly 70 by 30 feet, sided in aluminum and brick. I placed a receiver about 10 feet from each end of the house on a middle wall. One sender was on the extreme end of the house and the other on the aluminum screen door about 35 feet (in the middle of the house.) I didn't want to drill holes in the brick face. Both senders were linked to each of the receivers and communicate perfectly through brick and aluminum. Both senders are in a semi sheltered location but this set is water resistant. I'm very happy with the quality and operation of the units. It was easy to link up the units following the instructions. As far as the tunes. There are a couple traditional chimes as well as "songs". I didn't go through all of them. The sound is loud but can be adjusted to various levels. Sure it isn't stereo quality but then it's a doorbell. Once again very pleased.Hopefully it lasts through the winter.

Pros
  • ★BUILD THE ULTIMATE SMART door bell system – With multiple wireless door bells you can CONFIGURE each door with A DIFFERENT CHIME or ringtone. KNOW EXACTLY WHICH DOOR your visitors are calling from. For homes or offices with multiple entry points, this is CONVENIENT & TIME-SAVING. You’ll soon wonder how you lived without it. And UNLIKE SOME OTHER doorbell wireless, this door bell by SadoTech is truly WATERPROOF & WEATHERPROOF to -4°F/140°F for a system that lasts for years to come.
Cons
  • The doorbell's design is not modern or aesthetically pleasing
