Unnecessary for window dressing
This kit was completely unnecessary when installing window film on my front door. The directions for the film said to use soapy water, which would work just as well as the bottle of liquid they sent. Other "tools" were plastic; A single-blade razor and a 6-inch ruler did the same thing.
