Review on 🎛️ Nobsound HiFi 6J2 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier Stereo PreAmp with Digital Treble and Bass Tone Control in Black by Atiyya Green

Nice sound from this little preamp. I was a little apprehensive about this device when I read the reviews, but I took a chance and bought it. Mine worked perfectly right out of the box but after 1 song one of the bulbs failed, good thing they stocked you with 3 bulbs straight out of the box, a simple swap made it working again. Saw this in another reviewer too. Considering the price, it is not surprising that the lamps are of the lowest quality. Just order some better tubes (e.g. Riverstone Audio's GE kit) and I think there are many advantages to this unit. My unit also has movement, all the buttons and even the RCA connectors on the back move (as if the board was just placed in a box with no mounting points). Again, this is not surprising at this price point. You'll have to open the block and see if there are any mounting points at all. But in the end it sounds good and works well. For reference, I hook it up to a pair of B&O S75 speakers with a SAE 50W amp. The source is lossless files from a laptop via Schiit Modi Uber. The preamp added some warmth to the sound along with the ability to customize the tone.
