Review on 💾 Diskless NETGEAR ReadyNAS 102 RN10200-100NAS - 2-Bay Network Attached Storage by Chris Hanson

I've been using it for over 3 months now. The initial setup went well. I mainly use this to store all family photos and videos with RAID redundancy and accessibility for all our family members. Actual access is infrequent - it can take a month between uses. A few annoying issues despite little use: 1) More than once when we try to access it, it's no longer visible on the network, even with Netgear's discovery tool. None of their troubleshooting options work and it doesn't even respond to the power button. The only solution is strong traction. 2) A very loud vibration has developed. You can make it go away temporarily by fiddling with the front access panel and pressing on the hard drive enclosure, but it will come back very soon and be loud, incessant, and distracting.
